How many Charms and Blazes does it take for Dan/Rosa and Sarah to learn a new spell. I've been doing this for a long time and they still haven't learn a new spell, yet.
ReplyDeleteThe next spell slots on those two are unlockable in Sarah's new sub-plot. Sarah's is guaranteed to be learned, while Dan/Rosa's requires specific actions to be taken. I am working on a visual way to indicate that a spell is unlocked through the plot, haven't had any good ideas yet though.
DeleteMaybe use a different color slot of spells like these?
DeletePossibly; the tricky part is finding a good color to use. I got a few complaints that my old UI color scheme caused a few people's eyes to melt. xD

ReplyDeleteis their a way to re inslave val with the new update
ReplyDeleteAfter enslaving Dr. Tiff, a scene should become available where you can either trick her into thinking you let your slaves go, or enslave her.
DeleteDoug,
ReplyDeleteI like the game a lot, but the new art is not much of an improvement over the old stuff- everybody looks like expressionless, glassy eyed dolls, and there are even less variations between character personalities than there was with the original art- shouldnt a goth be a little more dour and pissed off? Maybe the body positions of the characters should change a bit depending on their expressions. Also Dr Tiff is a no-nonsense hard ass but is basically a loli with the new art? It is pretty hard to project toughness with all the frills and lace. I like the writing and the battle mechanics though, and I realize this is a tough labor of love- keep up the great work!
Unfortunately, having body positions changing between expressions would probably cost a lot more than what I'm already paying, and my budget is amazingly limited. I've been trying to work with the artist to get the avatars more expressive. It has not been easy though; I don't want to push them too hard though because I've had numerous artists quit on me in the past and if this artist quits it'll be hundreds of dollars of art that I won't be able to use due to the next artist likely not being compatible with the style.
DeleteI am going to keep making my own art for the classic style though, so if you prefer that style, it will still stick around.
