Some bugs I've found (decided to post it here instead of in the play section to avoid flooding the comment limit): Note: 2 of those are purely graphical bugs and does nothing to affect the overall gameplay. The third one is just annoying.
FIRST: If you enter a floor (e.g 5) at the same frame you enter a random encounter, you'll briefly see the note's location before being thrusted into the battle. After the battle, the note is gone, but you can still obtain it as normal. SECOND: If you advance the dialogue using the ENTER key (fast forward, think it also happens if you use normal speed), the text box will sometimes disappear. This happens mostly in minor 'scenes' (e.g when finding a note). There's been 3 outcomes from this that I've seen: FIRST: The text box and text both disappear. This is the most common one. SECOND: The text box disappears, but not the text. This is the somewhat common. THIRD: The text disappears, but not the text box. This happens rarely.
Third and final (which is just plain tedious): Again, if you enter a note on the same frame you were gonna thrust into a random encounter, the encounter will take priority and you'll have to win (or escape) from it. You'll then stand on the tile with the note. Moving in any direction will cause the note to show up (and the scene to play out as normal). This mostly happens (at least for me) in floors 3 and 8.
I have no idea if anyone has brought those up in the past. If so, apologies! And if not, hopefully it's nothing major (like I said, none of them impact the gameplay, it just looks very weird).
Finally, I have a question about the intro screen. First time I played, I got Ms. Rack (Mass Bimbofication ending) show up. Second time onwards, it's Doll Sarah (bed). Is it random or does it affected by where you currently are in the game?
Does the text box disappear permanently, or does it come back after lifting up on Enter? The fast forward button seems to be rather glitchy for some reason, and the code isn't even complicated enough to warrant it being that glitchy. xD
Anyways, I will probably need to design regions where random encounters can't happen near the stairs and notes. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to do that. I've been trying to work on ways to make exploring the dungeon better in general. Hopefully I'll have something figured out soon.
The intro screen starts on Sarah, then after about 10 seconds it fades into Ms. Rack, then fades into Val, and cycles between the three.
Intro: I see. I noticed this after some time, but was confused the first time I saw it.
Text box disappears for a short bit, but re-appears (at random) after some time, whether you use the speed up or normal speed to advance the dialogue. Usually after 4-5 (slow) or 7-8 (fast) texts. If the scene is short, the game won't let you advance (if Enter is used) unless you tap the 0 key a few times (causing the text box to appear again, at which point the Enter key works as normal again).
That is strange; I double checked the code and there is no code that causes the dialogue box to become invisible. And if it comes back, then it's not being removed from the scene either. I'll try looking deeper at it after I get some sleep but I'm not sure what might be the cause. I haven't been able to reproduce the bug on my computer so I'm not sure how best to test if I fixed it or not.
I noticed a typo in the scene where Cassandra is walking around on her knees to please main character. After answering "not really" Cassandra says something and character responds: "I'm not responcible for *something something*".
Also, for some reason I can't change Sarah's personality after getting everyone except Ashley enslaved (including Sarah's mother). Pressing 1 doesn't trigger conversation. I can only leave with 2.
Sorry, Sarah must have had an expression get stuck in one of those scenes, causing her status not to be 'normal' anymore which messes with the code for that scene. Uploading a fix now.
No clue if this is a known thing/bug but if you run away from a fight and then quickly inflict a status effect before the battle screen fades the next fight will have the monsters still having that status effect.

DeleteAny possibility of making it so capture quest monsters do not run away if you have a high character level?
ReplyDeleteTried swapping out 2 party members for 2 level one characters but the monster still runs instantly.
You can change "Monsters flee: ON" to "Monsters flee: OFF" in options after pressing enter.

Deletei hope great sex scenes will be added to this game and even main character slave pregnancies cause the double bimbos are sexy
ReplyDeleteI am planning to add sex scenes; not sure if I will add pregnancy though.
