Hey everyone
So, I've been working on trying to get my communication skills better; and one of the bigger problems I have is the very long silences. I said this elsewhere recently, but I tend to have a problem that I don't consider anything to be "worth talking about" until I have a whole update finished. Which is causing an issue where it seems like I'm doing nothing for a long time until I suddenly release a new update without warning.
I'm going to be trying to overcome this issue by making a blog post every Friday to talk about what my plans are, and what I've done over the last week.
To start off with for this week, it's the middle of Spiral Clicker's active cycle so that's what I've been doing this week. Tomorrow is the last day of the cycle for the month, and so far I've managed to add one new building function to the game, and two new characters. I am planning to call Spiral Clicker "feature complete" and move it to a slower update schedule so I can do Adventure High monthly again once all the buildings have their functions added and I've added the last special area.
For Adventure High I've been working on catching up with my artists. During the time it was not able to compile, I continued to commission art and so the artists got quite a ways ahead of me. Currently, I've been averaging 10-11 CGs per update and I've been getting from my artists 5-6 new CGs per update.
I am about 40 CGs behind at the moment, so, it would take a while to catch up on it's current schedule. Once I get back to a monthly schedule though, things will speed up quite a bit. I will probably get caught up on the CGs and be able to focus on scenes without CGs in them again within a few months after that.
Succuquest is getting very close to ready for it's next release. I've added a ton of new content to the game, and I am mostly just waiting on some voice lines to finish it off. The voice actress I'm working with on this one though has been having some weird internet problems where her emails when sent with an attachment just disappear. This version won't have voiced dialogue like the original demo had, due to these difficulties but I am trying to at least get vocalizations for Fawn's new form and for a couple female enemies before I release this next version.
I just finished getting new UI materials for Mind Conquest. I am not sure yet when I will begin to assemble them. I want to get Succuquest's next demo out first; and then I should have time to begin the process of updating the UI. It'll be a complex process but once done, it should make the game look a lot better and be much easier to understand.
