- Rest now restores three times as much stamina as before.
- 3 new spells for Sarah added
- 3 new spells for Ashley added
- 1 new alternate ending to the Berserker Plot added for if you date Julia successfully first.
- 2 new scenes added to the Cure Ashley Plotline added.

- Opening sequence during New Game Plus rewritten.
- 2 new scenes for Val added.
- Library scene added for Molly
- Updated art for Molly feeding on Rosa added

  1. "Character's knowledge of Val's Secret will be kept in the new game"

Consider me intrigued. Wait, does that mean if you new game plus a bunch of times you gain a ton of meta knowledge and can eventually do new and unique things that are otherwise inaccessible?

    1. Yeah, I am planning on there being newgame plus exclusive scenes and events, or being able to do things in a newgame plus you wouldn't otherwise have been able to do due to not having enough knowledge in one playthrough.

  2. Color me ignorant, but where do Sarah's grapple and the 2 new Val scenes show up?

    1. You can get Sarah's grapple scene by casting Grapple on her instead of healing her. For the new Val scenes, you can trigger the first of them on the streets after her second personal chat. During that scene if you use flirt on her, and are successful (need 40 affection or higher) it will enable you to go on a date with her. Alternatively, her date scene will now also be available if she has been charmed.

    2. I can't seem to get any scenes with Val after flirting with her during her chat on the street.

      Delete
    3. Did she agree to come back to your house, or did she say that it sounded wrong? You need to have high enough affection with her for the flirt to succeed. When successful she should have a scene available in the bedroom.

      Delete
    4. Neither. She said it surprised her, she liked the new confidence, then got flustered and left after realizing she said that last part out loud. I tried it after spamming 5 love potions, too. Still nothing. If there's another conversation, I've no idea how to access it.

      Delete
    5. Ah, that's not the last conversation with her; flirting with her there just boosts her affection towards you. There should be another scene on the streets after that scene, and after you've reached the 6th floor or lower.

      Delete
    6. There's a conversation with Sarah, but nothing with Val. I've gone down to level 13.

      Delete
    7. Still haven't found the way to trigger Val's second scene on the street. What am I missing?

      Delete
    8. I'm looking at the code, and I don't see what you would still be missing. It should be available as soon as the previous scene ends if you've already reached the 6th floor. It's in the same branch of the if-then tree, so if you were able to see the previous scene then nothing should be stopping you from seeing this one.

    10. So, I finally got a 2nd scene with Val (by NOT talking to her in the hall and starting her curse story line). However, every time I try to click on Flirt, it says FAILED.

      Delete
    11. I'm not sure how that would affect it; unless you charmed her during the curse storyline. Anyways, if val is lvl 8 or higher, she will say "It's not so bad with you there" and on that line, you can cast Flirt. If she isn't lvl 8 yet, she will say "it's still not really my thing" instead, and you can't flirt with her.

  3. The grapple art has an alignment issue (image is too high and gets cut off). Val's new encounter on the street has text overlapping.

    1. You should be able to pan the image up and down with the up and down arrows. If that isn't working, I'll take a look and try to fix it.

    2. And some of the text after saying it's a good idea Julia sent Ashley home is overlapping.

    4. Ah, I see the problem. I forgot to delete the collision box so it is colliding with the chat window and messing up. I have a fix uploading now; should be working in a few minutes.

    1. Hey, here's some more things I've found:
Found the 12th floor note (I wasn't even aware there was one!) and gave it to Julia. She'll say she wants to work more with the Protagonist (in my case, Dan) in the future. Then there's 3 empty boxes again.
Next, for fun, I chose to give her the 'note' again (I was expecting her to say it was a fake). Instead, the same dialogue happened.
When asked where the next note is (after the 10th), she'll say she haven't heard anything. Despite this, giving her the 12th one is accurate (including the scene in the classroom).
Sarah's final spell, Glacier, took me forever and a day to grind (I didn't keep track). For some reason, the information is overlapped with the Volcano spell.
In other words: when I only had Volcano, I saw the text for it as normal. Next, when I finally got Glacier, Glacier's info was empty and was instead mixed together with Volcano's description (and name).
Finally, it said that Sarah had 3 Hidden spells (Bubble, Fissure, Glacier). When I unlocked Bubble, it said that Fissure and Glacier were normal spells. Is that intentional or a bug?

Finally, I have a question about Cassandra: Are you going to make her possible to date in the future and if so, will she be Dan/Rosa exclusive, or will she be for either?

Finally, keep up the good work and sorry for the truckload of bugs!

      Delete
    2. Assuming you had Molly in her succubus form, I found the problem with Molly's library scene and fixed it. I also fixed Julia's intel and the Glacier spell.

That is intentional for Sarah's spells. They were purple before because the requirement to unlock them (Sarah's home plot) had not been met, once that had been met, they became unlockable through proficiency.

Cassandra will be date-able, but only with Rosa if you are going for a willing romance. Charming her, or forcing her to be your pet would be your only options as Dan.

I'll have the fixes uploaded as soon as possible. Waiting on the fixes to compile now.

      Delete
    3. I didn't have Molly in her succubus form - I had her in her normal form (I had just enslaved her and Jane).

      Cassandra: Fair enough.

      Delete
    4. That is weird, I just tested it with her in her normal personality and it worked fine. Not sure what's causing it to freeze up on you.

      Delete
    5. Just to clarify a little:
When I first tried this version, it didn't work. That's when I told you about this and you uploaded a fix.
I then grinded to Hell and back to unlock all of the new spells.
Did a new game (again) and enslaved Jane/Molly again.
Again, couldn't do Molly's library scene.
Changed her to mindless - it worked.
Changed back to normal - NOW the normal one would work.
The other 2 (Japanese Schoolgirl/Outgoing a.k.a Idol) also both worked.
No idea why the normal one didn't initially but it works now.

      Delete
    6. Ah, I understand the problem. She must have had her facial expression stuck in a scene prior to that. I'll have a fix uploading that will reset her facial expression when that scene starts in just a few minutes.

      Delete
  7. hey, sry if this is a stupid question, but how do you trigger the cure ashley plotline? also how to get newest scenes?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That plotline is not yet finished, but can be started by talking to Julia in the Library once all the previous scenes in the Berserker subplot have been finished, assuming you went the mercy route at the end.

  8. I added enslaved Molly to my party with free will on, and when her turn started, the game froze. Same happened after a reload on a different floor.

    1. I have no idea what's causing that. I just rewrote her entire AI in order to fix that problem. I'll have to look further into it.

  9. Went on the Heroic Route and encountered bugs - I think (not sure if they're intentional).
Completed Val's and Sarah's minds, used Boost on both.
Headed to Jane's 4th private class.
For fun, I headed into the shop. While I could see Molly's icon, I couldn't click on it (meaning no shopping). While I realize this is because she's in Jane's classroom, I found it funny. Maybe remove that icon (if possible) while she's there?
Second, I was looking for people to reinforce my/Molly's nature. I went into Drape's room and the scene in which he drops you down the trapdoor played as normal (I still had Molly's sprites for the duration). Which, to me, was kind of weird (as he shouldn't have known it was Dan/Rosa due to the transformation spell).
Unless, of course, it's fitting for the plot. If so, disregard this comment!

    1. Yeah, those were not intentional. I have a fix uploading now.

  10. Question about the Cure Ashley plotline (also a minor bug again).
Bug: I chose to tell her it was a good idea to send Ashley back home. The comment from Julia that followed was normal, but the second one was jumbled again.

Secondly, after I did that (I chose both scenarios), I can't do anything to progress it. Is that the end of the plotline for the time being?

Also, in this case, I had Julia as my girlfriend.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I'll get the text jumble fixed. There should be more after that scene though if you talk to her in the library. If her intel scene triggers instead, can you tell if her expression seems to be stuck on something other than her default expression? That's the only thing I can think of right now that might be making it not work.

      Delete
    2. Her expression is the same and the topless scene plays out as normal.
I gave her all notes. She'll say that the information is inaccurate if I try to give her a new one and she'll also say that she haven't heard anything.
Whenever I talk to her, I just get the options "Business" or "Pleasure".
Asked her for information (Sarah and Cassandra; only two options I had). Still nothing.

Also, I just realized that, for some reason, Ashley haven't left the party (I can still swap her in, though from what I understood, she'd leave the party at that point).

My current possible party members are:
      Val
      Sarah (currently a doll)
      Molly
      Cassandra
Ashley (...Ashley, you were supposed to have gone home. Why are you in my party?)

      Delete
    3. Yeah, on the date path, Ashley doesn't actually leave the party since Julia will go to stop Ashley from leaving after that scene. I'm not sure why the scene is not triggering, the code looks like it should trigger at that point. I'll try to get the problem figured out as soon as I can.

      Delete
    4. Thanks.
Gonna check if it works if I make Julia a slave once I get back home (I have some errands to run). Will post once I find out.

      Delete
    5. Whether you enslave her or not, if you are going the route of not dating her, you should do the mercy path to trigger the next part of the plotline.

      Delete
    6. Okay so...
First tried to enslave Julia and chose to forgive her.
Another scene played out, in which she requested me to get help from Jane. I asked why, she told me why and nothing else happened. I'd imagine that's the end of the scenario so far?

Did a new game, dated Julia again (this time staying in the library during the date), she sent Ashley back home, I told her it was a good idea, some jumbled text appears (second text box), then she says she did a massive mistake and nothing more happens. I checked everywhere.

      Delete
    7. Yeah, since I started on the new update I can't patch the fixes into the public version. The jumble is fixed in the live version. Anyways, there should be one more scene with Jane, which is the last scene in the set. From what you've discribed I think the problem is that I didn't put a copy of the if statement into her non-slave branch. Her if-then tree is super complex so I didn't notice that before. xD

  11. Hopefully last time I'll have to comment on this version... Hopefully.

I did a very long winded route this time around:
I started by enslaving Sarah in the hallway (to start Val's Willing Submission).
    Completed that route.
Made her a bimbo and spoke to Ms. Rack.
    Completed the Mass Bimboficiation ending.
    Did a NG+.
Got to Ms. Rack's first class and got to the 3 options.
Val and Sarah's works but if I chose to team with Molly, it'd still trigger the Sarah dialogue.
At first, I thought it was because I didn't know Molly in my old playthrough, so I loaded a savefile, enslaved her and Jane, did the ending AGAIN... And Sarah is still the one I'll end up talking to (who will ditch me for Cassandra).

Not sure why (or how) that happened, but I figured I'd point it out.

    1. Yeah, sorry, that was reported to me after I'd already started working on the new update so I can't fix it in this version. It is fixed in the live version though and will be fixed when I do the next update.

    2. Ah, sorry. Didn't know that!
Mind you, there's a bit of jumbled text talking with Val in her second scene in the streets (the one where she talks about how school is going).

      Delete
    3. No problem, and I'll get that text jumble fixed too. I seem to be really good at jumbling text...

      Delete
    4. I'm getting a LOT of jumbled texts in many scenes, too many to track.

      Delete
    5. If you can point any scenes out, I can check them for jumbled text. I try to get as many fixed as I can find but there are a ton of scenes now so it's hard to find them without direction as to where to look.

      Delete
    6. There's a messed up scene when you date Julia:
If you've enslaved anyone prior to dating her, she'll tell you how many you've enslaved.
When the Protagonist asks "what?", the next line from her will be half-cut off (when she says "You have enslaved X amount of people"). Basically, the line looks like it's 1 line too high.

      Delete
    7. Will start keeping track of jumbled texts in .34 playthroughs, but for now I've got a missing text in .33 - ng+, first note with free Val and free Sarah in group, no text. At all.

      Delete
    8. I have a fix for that uploaded now. That scene was still using obedience to determine if Val was a slave, when I'd since moved to a slave variable. Hopefully that correction should make it work properly.

      Delete
  12. Not a bug - or anything else. This is just a question I've been meaning to ask (thanks for making me forget, brain.)

Are you planning on adding Julia as a playable character (without having to enslave her) in the future, or will she be 'slave to play'? (...Okay, that is officially the best thing I have written today).

  13. New Game +, Val's portrait starts as Bimbo and remains so even if I turn her to normal - repeatedly. Goth works, but as soon as I turn her normal or mindless, Bimbo portrait returns. Bug, or deliberate?

    1. I'd say it's delibirate. If you check the NG+ intro transcript, the Protagonist will remark that Val's hair looks different. She then remarks she's done it like normal and is wondering what's wrong with you.
      To quote:
Protagonist: I'm ahead of you? But-Wait... You look different.

Val: What are you talking about?

      Protagonist: Your hair is...

Val: What about it? I did it the same as I usually do.

Protagonist: Nevermind. How are you feeling?

Val: ...I should ask you that. Are you okay? You're looking at me like you don't even recognise me!

      Protagonist: It's... It's nothing.

      Val: If you're sure...

  14. Moving here the conversation in the walkthrough page about problems with the 3rd note dialog, I'm getting even MORE problems with that scene.
New game+, Val's submission plotline, there is NO text in that scene, nor does Sarah's portrait appear.
Hitting Enter gets me to an empty text box with the small protag portrait to use spells, but still no text nor portraits. Hitting enter again, or space repeatedly, eventually gets me out of the scene with no text ever displayed.
Experimentally alternating space and 1 (which usually would have led me to select the "Tell her the truth" choice) still doesn't place me in the "Val submission" path.
To check, tried with normal personality enslaved Sarah. Also NO text in the scene.

TL;DR: Scene bugged in new game+

    2. That one in particular was reported earlier, I believe, and I think I fixed it but don't know for sure since if I recall correctly the person who reported it also only plays the public version. Fingers crossed when the public release comes out the fix I did fixes the problems with that scene. Basically, the problem with the scene was that it used the obedience stat for a lot of the checks, instead of checking for the variable for if she is, or is not a slave because I had written that scene before making that variable. So, on a new game plus it is easier for the stats to end up confusing the game.

      Delete
    3. I opened my NG+ savegame (saved with free Val right at the very first chance the game offers to save) with Minerva and edited all of Val's values to a fresh savegame. ALL, repeat, ALL the problems I reported for the 3rd level note got solved.

      Delete
    4. Yeah, some stat that carried over into the new game + made it easier for the game to break at that point. I'm hoping the fix I made earlier will correct for that when the public release comes out.

  15. Still trying for the "willing Val after enslaving Sarah at the doll scene" line for the fans of slaves ASKING to be enslaved, new and different bug: sucessfully got Val to freak out at the library, sucessfully flirted with her, but now the following scenes (lake, shop...) just don't appear.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. For that scene, Val does need 50 affection, and to be lvl 10 or higher. Since affection's exact number isn't visible if she is lvl 10 already, you might try boosting her affection a bit more.

    2. afection measured at 115 in the savefile (and yes, debugging is a perfectly legit use for .sol editors) ;-)

    3. Found a possible conflict: in a test playthrough going for submission only, scene didn't happen if character had flirted in Val's third conversation (the one for the "dating Val" line) even if the actual date hadn't happened. That requirement is not listed in the walkthrough, which makes me think is not what you were aiming for.

      Delete
    4. Ah, flirting with her in the third scene starts the date plotline, which blocks you from doing the willing submission plotline. The two are incompatible as a part of her reason for becoming a willing slave is that it's her only way to be with the main character. It thus, would not make sense for her to have that reasoning if she was dating the main character during it.

  16. Another bug: ng+, at Rosa's room, enslaved Sarah portrait overlaps Val's portrait (can actually see the outline of Val's hair superposed to Sara's) for Val's date scene (thus preventing the scene to happen), basically nothing else done in this playthrough.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That one is not a ng+ bug, just a typo in the coordinates for the icon in that spot that would happen in a first playthrough as well. I'll have it fixed in the live and patron versions in a minute. It will be fixed in the main version on the 20th.

  17. I have a question about Julia's date.
I had enslaved 3 people prior to dating her (Val from Val's Willing Submission, Sarah from the Doll plotline and Cassandra who I encountered prior to the Doll plotline).
I brought her to the lake and during the entire scene, I can cast spells on her but I can't seem to find any instance that the spells will do anything to her. Is it a bug or is it simply at a specific scene you can use some spell on her?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. When she says the line "Very well. Take me then. I can't stop you." you should be able to cast Suppression on her.

      Delete
    2. ...The one line I have yet to try. Of course.
      Thanks for pointing it out.

      Delete
    3. Shouldn't that go to the walkthrough, too?

    4. SacredHell: About being able to cast spells during Julia's date at the lake, the character portrait to cast spells didn't even appear in my playthroughs. Did you mistakenly post a .34 game in the .33 page, or am I doing something horribly wrong?

      Delete
    5. FF: If you have enslaved people and choose to go on date with her, she'll remark you've enslaved X amount of people (e.g 3 people). Going to the lake causes the icon show up (note: I played as Dan - not sure if it happens as Rosa).

      Delete
    6. SacredHell: Nope, that's not the difference - in my playthroughs, neither Dan nor Rosa get the chance to use spells.
Maybe the difference is in what you do answer to her following question ("1. We got a deal, 2. I don't want to, 3. I don't need to"). What did you answer?

Doug Byrd: Now that we're at that, bug in the previous scene (finding Julia at the lake) - scene takes place at the Library instead (not just background, it also takes you the library afterwards).

      Delete
    7. FF: Takes place for me in the library as well.
As for the spells, I've done this route:
Enslave Sarah in the hallway (1 slave)
Complete Val's Willing Submission (side with Sarah, 2 slaves)
      Enslave Erin (3 slaves)
      Meet with Julia.
All options I take: Studying is important > you won't have to worry about that from me (first meeting).
Scene 1: Play nice (when she's worried).
Scene 2: Ask if she's read any good books lately.
Scene 3: Flirt. Meet her at the Lake.
Lake: Use Flirt again (when she says it'd be a waste of time).
Date: Go to the Lake. I can now use spells on her.
Floor notes I give her (in order): 3>5>7>8>10 (DATE). I also avoid Ashley like the plague up to that point.
No idea why it won't trigger for you.

      Delete
    8. UPDATE: It's in the lake scene I can cast spells (that takes place in the library). Why I said it was the date is beyond me - apologies!

    9. I thought I had put it in the walkthrough, but apparently I forgot? I'll try to remember to include it when writing 0.34's walkthrough updates. And yeah it might be a bit confusing since so many of those scenes take place in one of two locations. In the scene in question, the scene starts off with no spell menu, and a spell menu appears when you go to the lake.

      Delete
    10. Well, rest asured that spell menu does NOT appear in my playthroughs even following your exact steps - both standar and NG+, with both Rosa and Dan.

Either we're playing different versions (v.33 here) or we got a weird bug here-

      Delete
    11. That is odd that it would work for one person but not another. The scene was made in 0.33 so the version shouldn't be the problem. I guess we can see if when I post 0.34 tonight the problem fixes it's self.
